MUERE CARVIN JONES, ESTRELLA INTERNACIONAL DEL BLUES-ROCK Y UNO DE LOS GRANDES GUITARRISTAS DE SU GENERACIÓN
El guitarrista, cantante y showman estadounidense, reconocido por Guitarist Magazine entre los 50 grandes guitarristas de blues de todos los tiempos, deja una extraordinaria trayectoria internacional y una relación muy especial con España.
Con una inmensa tristeza, desde paSiÓn eventos / management comunicamos el fallecimiento de Carvin Jones, una de las figuras más carismáticas del blues-rock internacional y un músico cuya guitarra, energía y personalidad dejaron una huella imborrable sobre los escenarios.
Conocido como “The King of Strings”, Carvin Jones llevó su música por todo el mundo. A lo largo de su carrera actuó en decenas de países y compartió escenarios y giras con grandes nombres de la historia del blues y del rock.
Su talento y su particular manera de entender la guitarra le valieron el reconocimiento internacional, llegando a ser incluido por Guitarist Magazine entre los 50 grandes guitarristas de blues de todos los tiempos.
Pero para paSiÓn eventos / management, hoy no desaparece únicamente un gran músico.
Hoy perdemos a uno de los nuestros.
Durante muchos años tuvimos el privilegio de acompañar a Carvin en una parte fundamental de su carrera en España. Fueron cientos de conciertos, incontables kilómetros de carretera, discotecas, proyectos, sueños, éxitos, dificultades y experiencias compartidas.
Lo que comenzó siendo una relación profesional entre artista y gerente terminó convirtiéndose en algo mucho más profundo: una amistad, una familia y una hermandad.
España se convirtió en una segunda casa para Carvin. Aquí construyó una parte muy especial de su historia artística y aquí dejó también millas de recuerdos entre quienes tuvieron la oportunidad de verle sobre un escenario.

Carvin Jones deja tras de sí mucho más que discotecas, conciertos y una extraordinaria carrera musical.
Deja una forma de vivir el blues.
Deja el recuerdo de un showman irrepetible.
Y deja una enorme familia repartida por diferentes lugares del mundo que hoy a pesar del hombre que durante décadas hizo de una guitarra, un escenario y el contacto con el público su forma de vida.

The American guitarist, singer and showman, recognized by Guitarist Magazine among the 50 greatest blues guitarists of all time, leaves behind an extraordinary international career and a very special relationship with Spain.
t is with immense sadness that paSiÓn eventos / management announces the passing of Carvin Jones, one of the most charismatic figures in international blues-rock and a musician whose guitar playing, energy and personality left an unforgettable mark on stages around the world.
Known as “The King of Strings,” Carvin Jones took his music across the globe. Throughout his career, he performed in dozens of countries and shared stages and tours with some of the greatest names in blues and rock history.
His talent and unmistakable approach to the guitar earned him international recognition, including being named by Guitarist Magazine among the 50 greatest blues guitarists of all time.
But for paSiÓn eventos / management, today is not simply about the loss of a great musician.
Today, we have lost one of our own.
For many years, we had the privilege of accompanying Carvin through a fundamental chapter of his career in Spain. There were hundreds of concerts, countless miles on the road, records, projects, dreams, successes, difficult moments and unforgettable experiences together.
What began as a professional relationship between an artist and his manager eventually became something far deeper: friendship, family and brotherhood.
Spain became a second home to Carvin. He built a very special part of his artistic story here and left thousands of memories with those fortunate enough to experience him on stage.
Álvaro Vidal, founder and director of paSiÓn eventos / management and Carvin Jones’ manager during those years, also says goodbye today on a deeply personal level:
“Today I am not saying goodbye to an artist I once managed. Today I am saying goodbye to my friend, my companion through hundreds of concerts and thousands of miles, and above all, my brother.
Carvin and I grew together, both personally and professionally. We lived an adventure that changed our lives and that will remain with me forever.
Spain loved you dearly, and you loved Spain deeply.
Thank you for every stage, every road, every conversation, every crazy moment and every dream we made come true together.
It was a privilege to walk beside you.
I love you, brother. Your guitar may no longer sound from a stage, but your music will never stop playing.”
Carvin Jones leaves behind far more than records, concerts and an extraordinary musical career.
He leaves behind a way of living the blues.
He leaves behind the memory of a one-of-a-kind showman.
And he leaves behind a huge family across the world who today say goodbye to a man who spent decades making the guitar, the stage and his connection with audiences his way of life.
